SUBMISSIONS
Square Wheel Press is currently not taking submissions whilst we prepare the theme of our next edition. New calls for submissions will be announced here and on our social media, so do check back from time to time.
Until the announcement of our next edition, why not give our previous anthologies a read? They are free to download from our publications page.
We thank you for your patience.
SUBMISSION GUIDELINES
Square Wheel Press currently only accepts submissions during set submission windows, announced alongside each new edition's theme.
POETRY: You may send up to five poems—no more than seven pages—in a single document, single-spaced. Each poem should begin on a new page, which should be numbered.
PROSE: One piece of either fiction or creative non-fiction, up to 3,000 words, double-spaced.
FORMATTING: Please number your pages and ensure that the title(s), word/line count and author name are clearly displayed in the document.
SIMULTANEOUS SUBMISSIONS: 100% acceptable, but please be sure to let us know if any of your pieces are accepted elsewhere. (To withdraw a piece from consideration, just shoot us an email at squarewheelpress [at] gmail.com)
_____________________
When you are ready to submit, send your work in a .doc or .docx file & a short author bio of up to 50 words to SquareWheelPress [at] Gmail.Com, with the subject line: “SUBMISSION: IDENTITY & TRUTH”.
All submissions are initially read through a blind process in an attempt to reduce bias.
While we are, unfortunately, not a paying market at this time, we do nominate for industry awards, such as Best of Net and the Pushcart Prize.
